Sticky Fingers Hospital
Summer Term in the garden and on wood visits.

After a night of really heavy rain today the children began to explore the puddles on the patio. Any container that had water in it was changed into an item for their role play. These children use the water as a pond for their fish. They told me they need more water so transported it in buckets and builders hats.

At the woods again water was of interest to our children they went fishing for Bernard the Big Bad Fish!!!!

While we were at the woods we had Eggy Bread and Hot Chocolate. Kim you did a really good job, Yummy!!!!

Back in the setting these two children told me they 'Loved Books' and were reading to each other. I got a huge roar from the crocodile and tiger in their stories. They little boy on the right has only just started Sticky Fingers and is already showing confidence within the setting.

The brick bag was changing into a boat, these two were off sailing the seas.

While outside The children practiced their balancing, they created their own course. If you look at photo you can see that they didn't have any toys, they used wood and pallets available. We collect any planks or logs for the children to play with. If you can donate any planks, logs or bark we would love to make use of it!!!
